We only use personal information where we have a lawful basis to do so. Depending on the circumstances, we may rely on:
Consent
Where you have actively agreed to a particular use of your personal information. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us at hello@sensqd.com.
Legitimate interests
We may process personal information where it is necessary for our legitimate business interests and those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests. These interests may include responding to people who have contacted SenSqd, managing interest in our services and programmes, administering our website and business operations, understanding demand for our services and maintaining appropriate business records.

5. Sensitive personal information
SenSqd's general website forms are not designed to collect special category personal data such as detailed information about health, medical diagnoses or disability.
Because SenSqd supports parents and carers of children with SEND, you may choose to refer generally to your circumstances when contacting us. Please only provide information that is necessary for your enquiry.
If SenSqd needs to collect more sensitive information as part of a specific service in the future, we will explain why it is required and the legal basis for using it at the appropriate time.
6. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We may share personal information with trusted service providers where necessary to operate SenSqd, including providers that support:
- website hosting and technical infrastructure;
- secure data storage;
- enquiry and form processing;
- email delivery;
- appointment and discovery-call booking;
- Microsoft email, calendar and online meeting services; and
- professional, technical or administrative support.
Our discovery-call booking journey may use Cal.com, and online meetings may use Microsoft Teams.
We require service providers handling personal information on our behalf to use it appropriately and protect it. We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, court order or another lawful authority.
7. International transfers
Some of the technology providers we use may process or store information outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate protections are in place in accordance with applicable UK data protection requirements. These may include recognised adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual safeguards.
8. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected.
When deciding how long information should be retained, we consider:
- the reason we collected it;
- whether an enquiry or relationship remains active;
- whether you remain on a relevant waitlist;
- operational and record-keeping requirements;
- legal or regulatory obligations; and
- whether the information is still necessary.
Information that is no longer required will be deleted, anonymised or securely disposed of in accordance with our information-management processes.
9. Marketing communications
We will only send marketing or promotional communications where we have an appropriate lawful basis to do so.
You can ask us to stop sending marketing communications at any time by using any unsubscribe option provided or by contacting hello@sensqd.com.
Administrative messages relating to an enquiry, booking, waitlist or service you have requested are not treated as marketing communications.
10. Cookies and website information
Our website may use essential technologies required for the website to operate and may use other cookies or similar technologies where configured.
Where non-essential cookies or analytics technologies require consent, we will provide appropriate information and controls. Further information about cookies may be provided separately where applicable.

We take reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
Access to personal information is limited to people and service providers who need it for legitimate business purposes.
No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take appropriate steps to manage and reduce information-security risks.
